我是男人 - war-shi-naan-ren (means I am a man)
我是女人 - war-shi-nv-ren (means I am a girl)
她是好人 - tar-shi-how-ren (means she is a good person)
他是好人 - tar-shi-how-ren (means he is a good person)
他是男人 - tar-shi-naan-ren (means he is a man)
她是女人 - tar-shi-nv-ren (means she is a woman)
你是好人 - knee-shi-hao-ren (means you are a good person)
你是女人 - knee-shi-nv-ren (means you are a woman)
你是男人 - knee-shi-naan-ren (means you are a man)

Notice the 她 & 他?Both are differentiated with a 女 at the left of the character. When you see any word with a 女 at the left side of the character, its means this word is referring to a female or feminine person/animal.
